Chef cooks
up rescue to school Drama
Last week staff
from the Left bank Village staged a dramatic rescue bid to save a school
production.

When the chef's costume needed
for the Hereford Cathedral School production of Menander's Dyskolos ("The
Old Git") failed to arrive through the post, they stepped in with
a full outfit at the last minute to enable one of the stars to look the
part as temperamental chef, Sikon.
Head of Classics, Siobhan de
Souza, thanked the Left Bank for their dramatic rescue. The show ran for
three nights at the school's Powell Theatre, to capacity audiences.
