Animated action
Radio
and TV producer Geoff Marshall-Taylor has been lining up the camera angles
this week with pupils from Hereford Cathedral School.
Recently executive producer
for school radio and the BBC's Religious Education programmes, Geoff's
credits include The Test of Time (winner of BAFTA and CRE awards) and
the animated film The Miracle Maker.
In the morning GCSE pupils worked
with him creating short radio plays. It got messy in the Art room in the
afternoon however as pupils set up scenes for an animated film using modelling
clay figures, card backdrops and a lot of imagination!

His visit rounds up a week of
workshops, activities and fun to celebrate the school library's fifth
birthday.
The competition of the week
was a huge mystery parcel. Pupils had to complete a quiz sheet to reveal
what was inside. The lucky winner got to take the box home - a large car
boot permitting!
