Summer Holiday Activities The school holidays are never a quiet time at Hereford Cathedral School and the summer holidays are no exception. Wasting no time to gain the most from their holiday, departing immediately after Speeches, an intrepid group of Sixth Form pupils completed a successful Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award qualifying expedition in the French Alps. Pupils from both the Army and the RAF sections of the school's CCF enjoyed their annual camps early in the holidays with members of the Army section subsequently enjoying an outdoor pursuit activity week in Cyprus. Closer to home at Wyeside many lower school pupils enjoyed a week of sporting activities whilst the 1st XV started the season with a short tour to the North West of England in the last week of the holidays. Likewise a group of Fifth Years completed their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award on the Isle of Arran. Bridging the gap between recent Old Herefordian's and pupils from the school, holidays and the start of the academic year, rehearsals for the annual Classic's Department's Greek Play are ongoing for performances in the first week of the Autumn Term.
