Hereford Cathedral School twins play for Wales

Cathedral School twins play rugby for WalesTwin brothers Robert and James Lewis achieved a rugby ambition when they both represented Wales at Under 16 level in the same season.

The two boys have been members of HCS teams since Under 12 level and this year qualified, through residency in Abergavenny, for Welsh U16 Schools. James Lewis plays at (13) Centre and on the wing, and Robert plays at Scrum Half.

James gained a full U16 Welsh cap against England twice, drawing at Welford Road (Leicester RFC) 19-19 and losing at Pontypridd 19-8. He scored in their victory against Italy at Neath. He also gained an 'A' U16 cap v Italy in Turin winning 53-10.

Robert gained 2 'A' U16 caps v England winning 23-10 at Taff Wells and losing 0-8 at Castlecroft.

They are both looking to gain Wales U18 caps in the future and both will be playing for Hereford Cathedral School 1st XV this autumn in what looks to be two of the strongest years for the school at this level, since the school's last schoolboy International Adam Billig four years ago.
