Passion about languages
Rosalind Higman, Dean’s Scholar and top achieving scholar at Hereford Cathedral School is passionate about languages, and after gaining 5 ‘A’ grades is off to Cambridge to study Modern and Medieval Languages at Corpus Christi College Cambridge. Rosalind, who won a bursary to Hereford Cathedral School has always been interested in languages and her enthusiasm was further fuelled by a trip to Heidelberg, which was made possible when Rosalind won the school’s Bishop of Eastaugh Travel Prize.
Rosalind has not only impressed her teachers at Hereford Cathedral School but also the OCR Examinations Board, who have awarded her the West Midlands Bursary to enable her to continue her studies at Cambridge.
