Boys dressed ready for the tour...

On 7th February Hereford Cathedral School 1st X1 cricket squad are departing for Cape Town, South Africa. The team are in the Western Cape for 12 days and are playing 5 games; the first game is against the Langa Township side and will be an interesting fixture as the squad will have lunch in the house of one of the players before the game.

They then travel to play Hermanus High School before returning to the Cape area to play matches against SACS, Parel Vallei and Goudini High School.

The 16 boys on the trip also hope to visit Robben Island, Table Mountain, Cape Point and go whale watching in Hermanus. The tour will be a fantastic experience for the boys who will see one of the world’s most beautiful cities, an exciting cultural community and have some very competitive cricket matches.
